Phytoremediation is an environmentally friendly therapy to minimize soil pollution. Cypermethrin (CYP) one of the most frequently used pyrethroid insecticides against a variety pests. We aimed at evaluating potential using economic plant like tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) as control alone and together with Plantago major L. (PM) for uptake CYP residue from contaminated soil, also, investigating antioxidant enzymes such (SOD, POD, CAT) in roots PM tomato.
